This is the absolute best Mexican food restaurant! We have known Alfredo for over 20 years. We met him when he was a waiter at a Rosie's Tamale house. He is an awesome guy. We stop here several times a month for dine in or carry out. The salsa is the best! We buy it by the gallon....literally!
This little family business is always a favorite. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is great. It's a small place so there's sometimes a wait. And it is cash only. (There is an ATM onsite.)

Easy to miss this little dive amongst all the small businesses surrounding 1431 in Kingsland, but made it my first destination of the day due to a recommendation as the best traditional Mexican restaurant in Kingsland. Firstly, this is a cash only (ATM within) and BYOB establishment. For the latter, no bar and I assume one can bring their own drinks but did not see anyone drinking beer.
