Other places claim to have the “best chicken fried steak in Texas” but I have tried them all.
THIS IS THE BEST TASTING CHICKEN FRIED STEAK ANYWHERE.
PERIOD.
The ladies here are great and the food is consistently good here.

It’s such an amazing feeling going here and enjoying some home cooked food. And their bread is incredible!
I walked in expecting breakfast like normal, but Friday they had a catfish fry, so I decided to try it. I absolutely loved it! Not only was that great, but all the sides and sauces were delicious.
Normally, we come for breakfast, which is also amazing. The people here are lovely, and it’s a great local joint. 100% recommend if you are staying for a bit!
