Stopped to get gas when traveling through Lampasas and couldn’t resist the smell of BBQ. Had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! Great flavor and large portion. If I pass through Lampasas again, I will make it a point to stop and eat at Young’s BBQ. Some of the best BBQ I have had!
Excellent food- baked potato was so good. Fair prices. And good service. Very clean inside
The barbecue is outstanding. I loved the Spicy sauce. Their chicken is out of this world. But the thing that really makes this place for me is that it’s a place I stop at consistently. Sure, the warm blackberry cobbler is fantastic, the restrooms are beyond clean, they have ample parking, but that’s not the real Recents that I stopped there.
