“I was there yesterday and got a Cheesesteak Hoagie (that's what we call them in Philly)... it was amazing and so was the service! It wasn't my first time there, but it was the best and it won't be my last! It was the best cheesesteak I've had anywhere outside of the Philly area... 5 STARS!!!”

“La Calle Doce is a gem! We went for Friday lunch and loved everything—the cozy, beautifully maintained old house, peaceful vibe, and excellent service. I had the lunch special with fish soup and a ceviche tostada, and my husband had the salmon salad. Both were incredible, and the spicy ranch waters were a fun bonus. Some of the best food I’ve had in Dallas—can’t wait to go back!”

“I’ve enjoyed this delicious food since I was a kid living in Lancaster. The breakfast is just as awesome as the bbq. The staff are always laid back and fast. It’s always clean and inviting. If you haven’t tried this hidden gem then you are missing out.”

“Second time for a gaggle of planes to come in for lunch. Agree with other reviews. Little short staffed, but with our big crowd, understanable. The breakfasts (served all day) are really good. Burgers are average size and plenty of fixins and fries were OK too. Nice and VERY clean cafe and terminal bldg. I'd call it at $75 hamburger, just short of a $100 burger :-) Recommend the breakfasts A+++ Will be on our radar when a bunch of us want to fly down for a good meal.”

“Everything about this place was a 5 star. The food was delicious, customer service was great and the portion size for the cost was AMazing. I ordered the chicken salad, birria quesadilla plate and kids meal quesadilla. All the food was hot, came with all the condiments and soooo good. Will be returning and referring!!”

“Forget about Taco Bell, Taco Cabana or any other place for Taco Tuesday or any day because to me this is best for tacos, burritos and tostados. I'm mad at myself for not going here before, my wife and I decided to eat here for lunch and also get something for dinner but the food was so flavorful, fresh tasting and delicious that I ended up eating all my food. I well be coming back real soon!”

“JJ's is a classic south-side fish and chicken joint. Nothing fancy to look at and no pretentious decor - chairs and tables, TV's and great food. But if you want great tasting consistent chicken wings or fish, JJ's is your spot. Very consistent food prepared the same way to get the same level of flavor and juiciness out of the first to last bite. They carry a big selection of deserts. I have not had all of them, but the one's I have had were above average and delicious. My go-to is the 10 piece wings along with a perch dinner.
If there is one shortcoming, it's that they serve tarter sauce packets with the fish. Order ahead because they are always busy.”

“I absolutely love Romas. I’ve tried other Romas in other areas but this one has my favorite dish, the Rigatoni Vodka, and they make it absolutely delicious. The staff is always amazing and we just celebrate there this past weekend and they accommodated for our large group and did a very good job. I recommend this place out of all the others and I’m happy we stay 3 mins away because we get our Pizza on Friday nights. We just love it”

“The vegan cupcakes are amazing! Moist and full of flavor. Sometimes vegan desserts can be hit or miss but not here. Everytime I'm in the area I stop by for a cupcake. There are others desserts offered and I believe the menu rotates. The owner is super nice as well.”

This place is a small space but the ambiance and staff or on point, service is minimal you know Restaurant style 10-15 min from order to table or carry-out whatever your preference is, I always seem to enjoy the Caldo de Res... Yes Lawd, let me give u a little insight about what Caldo de Res is 1st : Caldo de Res is Vegetable stock with beef bones "with meet of course" with chunk cut Vegetables you know potatoes ?, carrots ?,corn? usually served over a bed of your choice of rice.This soup is really Delicious and well prepared, we all know that the simplicity of the dish adds the complications, and they pulled it OFF you can taste the Love ❤️ and affection ❣️ in every spoonful. The Caldo de Res is served with hot handmade tortillas onion/cilantroRice, and a fresh raw Jalapeño.I'm thinking that maybe you should just pull up on them and see for yourself what the heck is going on inside those doors ??, all in all the food is great and there's a great ambiance for the wait.”
