Not even a complainer in the slightest, but we put in an online order, and our order was wrong. Then when we called to let the store know, the manager was combative and said he made the sandwiches personally and there was no way they were wrong. when we went to get our corrected orders, the staff didn't apologize and seemed bothered he had to make them again and his attitude was very flat. I absolutely love JJ's and understand it was close to closing hours, but being a former employee of JJ's I know it doesn't take long to remake a Sammy. Still love JJ's but the staff in Laredo is awful.

On Saturday, May 10, at 2:30 pm, my husband and I visited JJ Sandwich Shop, located at 1408 McPherson, Laredo, TX, for lunch. Our experience was severely marred by the poor customer service and egregious disregard for sanitation displayed by the employees. When placing our order, the employee's response to my husband's inquiry about cheese options was abrupt and accompanied by a smirk. My husband ordered a turkey sandwich, and I ordered a chicken sandwich to eat in, but the employee neglected to provide me with a receipt. The situation escalated when my husband observed an employee engaging in unsanitary behavior, which he politely brought to their attention. However, his concerns were met with disdain, smirks, and eye-rolling. My husband subsequently requested a refund and cancellation of his order. As we exited, the employees directed derogatory comments and laughter at us. This experience led me to advise others against visiting JJ Sandwich Shop if they expect a basic level of customer service and adherence to hygiene standards.

The team that served me this day was three guys named Marcos, Jonh, and Mario. It was a pleasant atmosphere, they do a very good job in what they had to do in a respectful way for me and other customers they served as well, they are an excellent example of what Laredo needs in terms of customer service. I love the food, the location, the cleanliness and above all the customer service. Gracias!
