On Chistmas eve we went to buy a cake, we choose the mango cream cake, and what a surprise the had... the mango was hard, in came in little chunkies but hard... only 1 slice and thats it... sorry pastry dont like it
The Pastry House has been one of the best bakeries in Laredo, Tx. Located at the French Quarter. I have been a client of theirs for YEARS! Their empanadas are delicious and everything is homemade. I read some other reviews with people saying its "pricey". You get what you pay for. I much rather pay for great quality reason this is the only place I buy from. Not sure why the bad reviews. Every time I come here for their cookies or special occasion cakes the staff is super helpful and the cakes are delicious. I always get compliments from everyone asking where I got it. My family has driven across town from the south side just for their pistachio cake thats one of a kind !
