La Casa De Frida - House of Breakfast

A wonderful atmosphere and great service. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are able to smell the “cafe de olla.” The art decor pays tribute to Frida Kahlo and provides feedback into her personal life with Diego Rivera. There is a great variety of dishes and the food is flavorful.

Had high expectations going in, was let down by the confusing to read menu and it’s limited options, service was kind and the food took a while to get to our table, I don’t think I’ll be going back,

The food is good.
I went on the weekend. I had to wait a long time for a table because there were few tables available for 5 or more people. Most tables are for 4 people or less.

I would return but not on the weekend.

1. Host seemed like she was in a bad mood the whole time, def not inviting.
2. We were a table of 6, food took a little over 40 min to get to our table
3. The chicharron en salsa was very bland no flavor, the same was for the chicken and waffle sandwich.

5. OVERALL poor customer service

I personally wouldn’t come again

Tortillas should be place on a tortilla warmer and NOT aluminum
foil. Chairs are too difficult to sit makes it uncomfortable.

Wanted to place an order and called at 2:13pm but no one answered. I called several times and no one answered. I figured they must have been busy so I drove to the restaurant and it was closed at 2:27pm even though they close at 3:00pm.

Poor customer service

Lousy restaurant. I ordered some pancakes and they were raw and cold. The scrambled egg was not good at all, it came with potatoes and the potatoes were already colder than anything. The only good thing was the pot coffee and it was a total bill of 50 dollars which was not worth it at all
. DON'T GO!!!!

Good food

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! We learned they had a Chiles en nogada special, not on the menu and had to return for that. Fabulous! Love the food I’ve had here so far! Chilaquiles verdes, and Cazuelita de huevos ahogados. Cafe de olla. Excellent corn tortillas. Good Nutella &strawberry pancakes.
The decor is pleasant, not fancy, vibrant Mexican blue and subdued pink.

More coffee options would’ve be nice. Also, coffee was not the best. But everything else was good. Good service and decent food.

Coffee was delicious. Food was great. Friendly service. People need to learn to speak softly. It was too loud and the word "like" is used way too often in a conversation.

The hosts attitude is always rude, service is slow, food is regular, I like the cafe de olla... but the service is awful!!!
