Great place, tasty dishes and a warm, welcome atmosphere. The food is fast, fresh and hot. Coffee is your average cup, and they serve the butter cookies with your cup when available. The mango juice (agua de mango) is very tasty and highly recommended. The rustic tables and chairs add to the simply decorated colorful atmosphere. Parking is a bit tight, but the parking spaces are covered and out of the sun which makes it worth it. Give this place a try, you will be back again.

So I went today to try the food cause it looks amazing in the pics. The tacos r just amazing, the meat is so well marinated and cooked perfectly for the tacos. The only thing is that they don't add potatoes on the side no more, thats what I was told. The flautas were to sour for me, the green tomatoes sause to be exact, but they are stuffed with chicken. The pambazo was huge. The tamal wow amazing I wanted more but I was stuffed. The lemonade was too sweet for me but the Jamaica was great. They close early at 3,but they are super nice and take great care of you, since you walk in and out that door.

Went in hoping to get some really good food. Walked out after waiting 30 minutes for my food and server messing the entire restaurants order. Server couldn’t think of at least bringing my sister and I our menudos as we waited for the rest of our food. However server seemed to have given our food to the table next to us as they complained about the plates being wrong. I at least walked out without having to pay for my coffees but still the staff could have handled it a little better.

Torta pretty nice portion and is a different which it can be good the torta itself was fire good taste filling I also order tamales I haven’t tried yet because I’m full the melon water was on point too

This place is small and cozy, very nice. Great café de olla as well as the tacos. Barbacoa, chorizo and egg and egg with cheese. Everything was good.

Worst restaurant I ever been to receptionist are horrible and food is nasty drove from San Antonio to Laredo to visit family and I’ve never ate at such a horrible restaurant not recommended anyone !!!

Great small restaurant I see alot of really great reviews about this place. But unfortunately my experience was the opposite. Went in with my family since i was recommended to this restaurant the food looks fantastic but the taste is not so great than on my plate as i was still eating saw it had a really long black hair on my plate. I let them know they offered to bring me another and accepted it but ill be honest I wasn't comfortable anymore not a single lady working in the back wearing a hairnet paid about 80 bucks which is about what i spend for breakfast with my family of 5 so the price is not bad pretty much for me it was the taste that was not good and the hair in my food other than that it was ok
