“The delivery driver set our food outside on the ground without even ringing our doorbell to notify our food had indeed arrived. So now our food is full of ants and not one person would answer the phone to correct the out right negligence with the employees to employer's. Just pure down right out of control with the breaking of health and food handlers to straight lack of either respect or common sense.“

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.“

Great first-time experience at Palio’s Pizza in Royse City!

Located in the Walmart parking lot across from Murphy’s gas station, this spot is clean, cool (AC was on!), and had delicious, fresh, gourmet food—we enjoyed everything we ordered.

A couple of helpful notes for first-timers:
• The front entrance can be confusing. Like others, we went to the left door by mistake—the right has a short wall and the door looks like part of the nail salon. A standalone “Welcome” sign with arrow could help new customers find the right entrance more easily.
• The bathrooms were clean, but the women’s restroom door didn’t lock—not a huge issue but something to consider fixing, especially for parents with kids.

This location is more of a “order at the counter, then sit or take it to go” setup, so it’s helpful to know what you want before walking in to avoid slowing down the line.

Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back—next time we’ll come in a little more “pro” about it. 😉“

“Y’all have to go in there and try their autumn special drinks. These drinks are so amazingly good and of course I had the one with the caramel in it. We also had the bang bang shrimp, which was amazing. Go up there to brass tap is the perfect weather you could sit outside with their outside seating and look at the lake and enjoy your meal. I put in the instructions that we had crazy dogs so please just leave the pizzas on the porch and we would grab them. “One of the best restaurant staff I have seen on this side of the city. We ordered $5 pizzas through the mobile app and I did not look at the pricing carefully. The app gave a $5 promotion for one pizza and the rest was in full prize. I did not realize until I picked up the pizzas from the restaurant. I returned to the restaurant to ask them if they could do something. Unfortunately system did not allow them to do any store credit or return the money. The staff suggested to call the manager. But, surprisingly 10 minutes later one of the store staff called me and she took care of everything by talking to the manager herself on the phone. They revised the bill.

I do not mind waiting for fresh pizza. usually get a 3 meat large but sometimes I add to them. the people there usually dont mind. I think this location is cheaper than other pizza places in the area. if you do t mind dealing with kids you will like this location. I've rarely had problems in 7 yrs coming here.“
