South Shore Grille

Every time I go here the service is terrible! The organization of the restaurant is complete chaos. There is no apparent management in place, and the severs have little to know direction! Frank is a nice guy, but is limited in His hospitality training! He is more concerned about taking the service bar orders, than greet or wait on the people trying to eat at the Bar! He often leaves the bar unattended, while He runs into the kitchen, or out to the dining room! If filling the service Bar orders take precedent to greeting and serving customer, they should have a service bartender! He even checks the to go orders which is the expediters position! Very disappointing evening to say the least! At one point a server with long dark hair came behind the bar to fill Her own drink and started drinking it in front of me without even acknowledging me. Very unprofessional!! Everything falls from the top, so owner and management need to look at what they are doing a little more. Terrible experience...

You talk about great food and even called to ask about prime rib doneness. Im super impressed with my local restaurant. Thanks south shore

Nice Place.

Server had a bad attitude and she wasnt even my server. Heavy set black girl with an attitude needs to settle down and not be so loud and obnoxious. I thought this was a classy place but if server's gonna act like that, I don't need to do business here.

This is one of those neighborhood gems that never misses. I hosted my son‘s graduation dinner there last night and the service, the food, and the atmosphere were 10 out of 10.

I had a very pleasant experience with my mother for a late mother's day. The sandwiches were perfectly toasted and soft, the soup flavourful and the perfect temperature. When I had made my order, I had requested chicken noodle soup but they told me they were out, so I ordered a different soup. When my meal was brought out, the waitress surprised me with some just made chicken noodle soup. A wonderful experience. I will be going back, and we plan to bring more people.

Ok food

In town for a conference. Asked for good seafood and was recommended this restaurant by the hotel staff. I got snapper which was supposed to be seasoned, topped with crab, and a chipotle cream sauce.
It was sadly the most bland fish I have ever eaten. I really LOVE snapper but I would have preferred LJS over this. The only thing that was any good were the garlic green beans.
The Mojito I had was also suuuuper bland. I removed a couple of mint leaves that were brown and there was almost no mint flavor.
I would not recommend this to anyone.

I MUST give a shout-out to Frank, Hanna and Cora. In the area a lot of restaurants close by 9pm on a weekday so I chose South Shore Grill because they stay open till 10pm. My reservations were for 9pm. Even though they were looking at a long night with a big group coming an hour before close...they were sooooooo friendly and sooooooo accommodating. Their personality alone MADE our experience exceptional. The ambiance was beautiful and the food came out fast and Hot! Thx so much for the great experience Frank, Hanna and Cora. Everyone has said they'd totally return ☺️
