It was a packed house on Sat. But it is something to be expected. Great BBQ, and atmosphere where strangers become friends while waiting in line. Make sure and arrive early to get to enjoy all the meats on the menu. Got to meet the queen of Texas BBQ Ms.Tootsie.

Holy smokes. Best I've ever had. Arguably the best in Texas. Get there EARLY. 5am. Bring a folding chair. Coffee. Half the fun is the people you meet in line waiting for them to open. Real fun starts around 8am though. IYKYKBrisket melts in your mouth. Perfectly done. Barq. Smoke rings. Juicy. Ribs... Tender, perfect seasoning. A total experience.

The facilities were well-appointed, and the early morning weather added to the overall pleasant experience.However, it's worth noting the phenomenon of famous establishments like Snows BBQ receiving widespread acclaim after media exposure, such as the Netflix documentary featuring Miss Tootsie. While many flock to this quaint town to meet Miss Tootsie and savor the renowned barbecue, it's essential to recognize the hard work of Clay, the master behind the smoker. Throughout our visit, Clay tirelessly manned the pits for an impressive 30 hours straight, demonstrating his dedication to his craft.Although Miss Tootsie made a brief appearance around 5:30 or 6:00 AM, her involvement seemed minimal, as she focused on stirring the beans and remained engrossed in her phone. This lack of interaction with patrons may disappoint those expecting the charismatic presence portrayed in the media. Even the owner, Kerry, appeared somewhat disengaged, indicating a sense of weariness with the weekly barbecue routine.Nevertheless, the food itself exceeded expectations. Get there early and plan to wait for the best BBQ in the world. Unless you get lucky like me and win the lottery and get selected by Kerry to move to the front of the line.Truly, this was a bucket list item for my wife and I during our BBQ tour of Central Texas where we visited Louis Mueller, La Barbecue, Terry Blacks, Franklin, Leroy and Lewis, Salt Lick, Interstellar and Kreuz Market. If you are a lover of old school like we are, Snow's is the best. We had the chance to meet Kerry when he announced I was the lottery winner and was moved to the front of the line after lingering at 83 and 84. We met a wonderful family from Venezuela and two families from Australia. Do yourself a favor and leave time for Miss Tootsie and Kerry during your Saturday and be sure to try the best in Barbecue at Snow's.

Just order more for a summer feast. Had our first brisket for dinner tonight (3.8.24). Was the most tender and flavorful meat we have ever tasted. Thanks to Snows staff and the best pitmaster Tootsie.
I took their pitmaster class with Clay. I have to tell you it was an amazing experience and worth both the money and the time. Not only are the staff amazing but the food is probably some of the best barbecue you will find in North America. I realize what a huge statement that is. When it comes to brisket even in Texas you will be hard-pressed to find someone who does it better.
Delicious. Long line as expected. Went a lot faster than I thought it would. Everything was really good. The ribs had a good little bite with the pepper. Chicken as well. The original sausage was good. I'm not a huge jalapeño fan but the jalapeño sausage was excellent. Brisket was really good. I will say that it got sliced pretty unevenly and that apparently makes a difference. But not enough to bring the rating down at all. I heard the banana pudding was a little thin, and I agree but was delicious. Every employee I spoke with including the owner Kerry, Ms. Tootsie, and the gentleman manning the brisket (I didnt get his name) were all very frindly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

They write what’s “out”on the outside.My main reason for going is to try THE BEST brisket out there and I went to a few before going here. And it was better than I could have imagined.I’m wondering how they keep it warm. When we got our food I expected room temperature maybe but it was actually pretty warm.Takeaways:RIBS ARE A MUST!
