All the right country cafe foods were on the menu, but the flavor just wasn’t there for some reason - per our group of 7’s assessment. But, great atmosphere! Expect a wait, hard to find parking, but nice to have a place to sit and hang out listening to live music while we waited. Friendly staff.

Great food. Wife loves the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Get some chocolate peanut butter pie. You wont regret it.

I don't normally give a low score. Under the circumstances you be the judge.The hours are closing at 8pm.I arrived shortly after 7:30pm to place a to go order.Had to wait at the counter with no help for almost 10+ minutes.Finally some came and asked could he help. I ask to place a to go order. He looked at his watch and told me the kitchen closed at 7:45. So he cannot take my order. Said whatever I order will probably take 20 minutes. (Didn't ask what I would like, just told me they couldn't get it out before closing.)I just walked out figuring that didn't need or want my business for the night.I gave 2 stars because I can sorta understand..... but not even to offer maybe a salad or anything. Just WOW!!!

Well I went and had a great chicken fried steak, mash potatoes and spinach. Topped it off with a top shelf margarita. The small chicken fried steak is not small :)

Ordered a BLT. They brought the food to the table. The bacon and the chips were both burnt. I can't believe they would let that happen or allow that out of the kitchen. The last time I ever go to Dahlia Cafe.

We were breezing thru town, and I really wanted some American comfort food. This place did not disappoint! We ordered a bunch of things for takeout: Chili, onion rings, Buffalo chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. All of them were DELICIOUS! Thank you Dahlia

This place is absolutely amazing. We were greeted very kindly, sat down and promptly waited on by Dakota. She was very kind the entire time and was waiting the entire room all by herself! She was quick and efficient and constantly came to check on us. Marcel (I believe that was his name) was so sweet and also came to check on us multiple times too. The food was amazing. One of the best we've had in Texas. I'm VERY picky about my chicken fried chicken but this one was so tender and juicy with tons of breading. My entire family enjoyed our meal. My husband had the chicken fried steak and my son had a burger. We also each got desserts. Nothing disappointed. Excellent food and even better staff. We highly recommend this place especially if you love hometown food and hometown feel.
