I’m so glad we decided to eat an early dinner here. The cat fish platter is on point. The only way to make it better would be to have fried orka, say this country woman. The Lemon Drop is a must have or try ‼️ We met the owner. The interior is very unique and unchanged from its predecessor. Now I need to come here out of the way again just to come back‼️ The service was great. The atmosphere is what you expect. The food is out of the world for a “bar”‼️

Stopped after visiting Polk County Tax Office next door. I wasn't that hungry but was curious so I ordered the Potato Soup. I LOVED IT. $8 for a bowl of soup is a bit pricey but it was delicious & I will be back!

I stopped in for a late lunch and found this little gem. Live music emanating from the front door. (Good music)I was seated and helped right away.I had a hamburger and fries. The burger was great the fries slightly greasy but not enough to affect the rating.

Eat here. You won't be disappointed!4.4 stars is an absolute lie. This place is 5 STAR all the way. Service was great, beer was cold, and the food was even better. I apologize to my grandmother for this, but that was the best chicken fried steak I have EVER HAD! Every person in my group was very impressed. If I'm passing through again I will make it a point to stop there.
I enjoyed my chicken fried steak but my wife did not care for the batter used. She does not care for certain spices and it may contain those. All the wait staff were very friendly and did a awesome job. The owner actually came over and introduced himself by name not by title. He asked how everything was and made us feel welcome like they do at Joe's Italian Grill and Pizza. Keep up the great job and we will be back.Kid-friendliness: They allowed kids and offer kids meal. We wanted to take the kids to eat and over look the lake but unfortunately The Wet Deck only allows on Weekends before 4pm. So we are here with no problems.
My family and I loved the food and southern hospitality. Chicken fried steak was huge and delicious, and we had a nice surprise with live music at lunch! We'll be back!

It’s always a good vibe at Blue Duck! I bring all my friends and it never disappoints with food or drinks! For the bartender, Sarah does an amazing job with making drinks delicious and pretty!

Sorry no pictures but the catfish platter was delicious! Nicely done with rice pilaf and an order of steamed broccoli was excellent! Service was excellent too - the music ? was overly loud for me. But I would definitely recommend the food and come back myself.

Went for a private event and was floored by the service, fresh salad and homemade potato chips and wine selection. The chicken salad sandwich and BLT’s were stellar. The roast chicken looked just as delicious but I didn’t personally taste one. Fresh and tasty! Would definitely go back.
