Miss the old menu!
This cafe had a unique menu a while back and boy, really missed that today as we visited Livingston. Current menu is same old stuff you can get anywhere. Service was good, food was tasty, though of a 'packaged' variety.

It was my first time going into the cafe, and it was NOT a mistake!!! Everything was great. I met 2 nice ladies as I was coming in, and they were leaving. They greeted me by saying it was their first time in there, and they loved it. They highly recommended the Chicken Fried Steaks. I think that will be my next selection. Thank you to the staff for making me feel like I was at home.❤️

Parking: Parking is in the back of the building but there's an easy entrance from the back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Great wheelchair access. There's a great wheelchair ramp from the back of the building that's perfect, not to steep like some places are.

👍 The waitstaff are nice and friendly.
👎 I wouldn’t recommend sitting at the front windows. It feels like you’re on display, and the wait for food in that section can be quite long.
👍 The food is consistently good, and I haven’t had anything I didn’t like.
👍 There’s an antique or resale store next door that’s connected to the restaurant, offering a nice additional option for browsing.

We went for the seafood buffet and there wasn’t much to choose from. They had multiple main courses but absolutely no sides and you had to wait for someone to serve you. It was like they wanted to ration the food to you. It definitely wasn’t worth 100.00 for 3 people to eat. Will not be back.

Four stars on service, not because anyone was rude or service was bad; it just didn’t feel very welcoming. The food was good. I enjoyed the baked potato. The salad bar was also good. It’s your basic cafe salad bar. The BLT was a good sized sandwich and the fries were crispy. The fried pickles were perfectly salty and crunchy. Glad we stopped in while on vacation. I would eat there again.

Vegetarian options: My daughter enjoyed the soup of the day, which was vegetable soup.

Basically good. I was traveling I was trying to sleep in the back cab of my truck for an hour. Basically ran me off. It's mostly good. Just don't knap in your truck.

I usually order the chicken fried steak from here and it's always great. So thought I'd order breakfast via door dash ( 2 egg breakfast) and it was just awful. My toast wasn't toasted, just 2 pieces of soggy bread, the sausage did not taste good at all, and the hash browns tasted like pure grease. A complete waste of money.
