Got the order wrong . Made me sign up for some grub now app just to order. When we discovered the pizza was wrong and called , nobody answered after numerous attempts on a Friday evening. Last time I’ll go here. I can spin a better pizza together from Sam’s club anyway.

The wait for a take and bake shouldn't be anywhere near 30-40 mins. I can't imagine how long it would've been if they baked it FOR me. When we took it out of the plastic it was so wet on the bottom that it poured liquid out. Went through the instructed 15 mins on a stone and it got stuck when we tried to transfer it to the rack. Half the bottom crust fell apart...this is what's STUCK to the stone. Not sure it was worth it.

To everyone who says that Pizza Kng has changed since they were recently sold: Nope. And to everyone who says this location isn't the same as the original Highway 80 location: You're wrong. I grew up eating Pizza King at the true original location -- when you had to go outside to use the bathroom and you tripped on the uneven floor trying to find a seat. The pizza is the same now as it ever was. And this to-go location is no exception. I'm not in my old hometown very often, but I'm thankful that the new owners opted to open a drop shop on the other end of town. Not only is your order ready in 15 minutes (cooked or take-and-bake), it tastes as divine as always. And the customer service is also excellent. I have two pizzas ... ready to bake in my Houston-area freezer. It's very nice that I can enjoy the pizza of my childhood at my leisure hundreds of miles away.
I ordered from here expecting the pizza king I used to get. This was no where near the quality that I remember. Also the crust was different. It was like a mix between a frozen pizza and pizza king. If this is what the new pizza king is I think I'll find pizza elsewhere. That makes me really sad.
