Hello, first time trying Right Side, and I will say the take out fish from there to Henderson was still hot and crispy! The catfish filets were thiCC and buttery. Cornmeal dredge was seasoned and fresh. Okra was also fried to perfection! But, we gotta talk about the oysters. I picked one up, it was flat and the batter shattered in my hand revealing a shrunken, leathery oyster. These did not feel freshly dredged, and the oyster was not plump and juicy. Right side is our family’s go to restaurant. Breakfast all day, delicious food, fast friendly service and free ice cream. 🍦
Wife and I had our second visit today. Catfish, fries, and hush puppies were delicious. we haven't found better anywhere. Diet Dr Pepper from the fountain was great, I know this requires attention because diet soda gets stale quickly, we appreciate it.
