“A hidden gem in Longview. The owners are very hospitable & the quality of the food is some of the best Salvadoran food I’ve had the pleasure of tasting! Try the platanos con crema & pupusas or one of the multiple breakfast platters they have. You surely won’t regret it!“

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“

“We usually eat at the Kilgore location, but due to the fire, we went to Longview. Food was very good, but the server was WONDERFUL. She made us want to go back soon. Her name on our ticket was Kenya.“
