“This location has always been a cool, affordable place to eat. Usually packed, but atmosphere is like no other. Prices lower than any other mexican place in town. Good food too. BY THE WAY, THIS IS FOR THE LONGVIEW TX LOCATION. NOT TYLER. PLEASE STOP POSTING TYLER. NOT THE SAME. TY.“
“This place is absolutely amazing! Their pupusas and curtido are top notch. & the owners are amazing. It’s a wife and husband who run it and his great service along with her amazing pupusas make it hard not to keep coming back. They do have a long wait but she makes the pupusas as the order comes in. So if you don’t have patience for food made with love then don’t bother. 10/10.“

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“

“Cain was the cashier and bartender. My friends and I came in and had a few drinks and some food. He was the best person ever! I personally asked him to make me a surprise drink. It was the bomb! He even made my friend one.. also DELICIOUS! Cain added to such a wonderful experience. Long story short, 3 friends, including myself, were catching up and he made the atmosphere even more pleasurable. He will be the reason I come back. Love him!“

“We usually eat at the Kilgore location, but due to the fire, we went to Longview. Food was very good, but the server was WONDERFUL. She made us want to go back soon. Her name on our ticket was Kenya.“
