“Want to thank the General Manager, Margaret Burch, for tracking me down to return a birthday card which included a check accidentally left there by a family member. I appreciated her going that extra mile to do the right thing. We have been to The Brown House Cafe several times over the summer and really enjoy the great service and excellent food. It’s worth the drive from Gatesville for some good home cooking. Thanks, Margaret!“

“I love their egg salad! They make very good lattes considering they’re not a coffee shop. The food is consistently good not outstanding. The staff usually seems like they’d rather be doing anything else but waiting on you. The wait times are ridiculous at both locations on the weekends. Yeah I go back usually for the egg salad.“
