We love going to Amici's and sitting at the bar. The atmosphere is great to meet new friends and enjoy great wine that Wade and Tim pick out. The rotation changes every two weeks but you always have a great selection of wine to choose from in their store as well. Highly recommend going and experiencing for yourself!

I didn't know what to expect with this place, but I was blown away. It was a very unique concept for Lubbock. We had wine flights, the butter board, steak bites, and the tiramisu dip for dessert. Everything was exceptional. We can't wait to go again!

We tried it, and won't be back. For a wine bar, we were disappointed the flight tastings consisted of only 2 choices, Merlot and Chardonnay, neither of which were compelling, intriguing, or interesting. There were only 2 other wines available by the glass, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Cab. What? Wait... this is a wine bar, so can we see a wine list. We were brushed off by the waiter/owner who told us the inventory changes so much they don't ever print a wine list, but he had all selections in his head so all we had to do was ask. What? Wait... ask what? Just show me a list that you print off every day... nothing fancy, just a document with the wines, their vintages, and prices. Simple, right? I had the uninsured Merlot flight... and we ordered the butter board from their list of snacks. Yeah, no... this just didn't work at all, but we could have ordered something else, and should have. Otherwise, we sat on the couches in front of the faux fireplace, which is the only comfortable seating. The barstools, benches and chairs were very uncomfortable and not conducive to lingering over a nice bottle of wine. At the end of the day a nice wine bar is still missing from the Lubbock entertainment scene. The silver lining to this dark cloud is they have an opportunity to improve their business model with very little capital outlay, and extraordinary upside potential.
