We love this place ,if you want a home cooked meal grandma style this is the place from scratch I say yes from scratch, they have the best pastries ive ever tasted and I mean that the best, the service is 100% so respectfully and just feels like home ... you will love it ,have to get there early to get a table but it is worth it totally have to say the best ,I highly reccomend ,its behind the breakfast place off 50th just before homebase a treasure for sure
This IS the best cafe in Lubbock, Texas. Everything cooked from scratch, including the biscuits. I have not had actual homemade scratch biscuits in decades. Breakfast was great. The deserts are equally great. We were gifted one of their of their scratch apple crumble pies, and I had thought I had eaten apple pie before!!! The only thing that equals their food is their down home hospitality and service. Apple Tree Cafe and Baker is a TEN STAR cafe and bakery.
