Chorizo and papa breakfast taco was extremely greasy, did not finish eating it. Pacadillo burrito was soggy, couldn't enjoy it. As new customers, we felt a bit rushed to place our order, while we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. Pastries we got were very good. Hence the only reason for landing in the middle on the rating scale.

I got me a drunk taco and some chips and salsa and it was delicious! The chips and salsa were the best and great price for the amount of chips and salsa you get. The salsa was flavorful and kicked my tastebuds

Took my mom the other day to get some sweet bread. Not the biggest selection but it is what it is. When we got home she bit into an empanada and it was rock hard. I'm pretty sure they gave her day old bread or something. And the filling. There was a teeny tiny drop of pumpkin inside. I had to open mine up to find any. Nice facility and the staff was nice but we won't be back.

How good is this place you ask? Upon opening the to-go container it was obvious why they made the Texas top 50. I litterly started drooling. My daughter saw it. I asked. Ribs with a soft sweet taste, fall off the bone tender, brisket cooked to perfection and full of flavor in every bite, turkey…well this gobbler would be proud to be served on any plate. Make the trip, it’s worth it. What creditability do I have for a food review you ask? …Well none, just like the rest of you. So let’s stick to the facts…it’s freaking good!

Burritos are the best! Best breakfast in Lubbock! The brownies are like Texas sheet cake slices!

Didn't like the tortilla I didn't like the brisket I ordered a barbacoa and they gave me a brisket didn't like the Carna guisada too much Cumino. Tortillas are store bought

We ordered barbacoa plate and a few carne guisada burritos. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. We’re from South Texas and currently live out of state. We had high expectations for Jimenez and really needed a good fix!
I’m telling you- this is the good stuff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our order was out quickly and we brought it back home to eat. The space is take out only and they were super busy on a post holiday weekend and still great service and quality. I have a pic attached- but it’s only after I had started eating- so the portions were originally larger than shown.
I can’t wait to come back again!

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. I got a carne guisada burrito which was very salty. Smothered burrito plate was so so. I also had a breakfast burrito with eggs and carne guisada. The eggs were definitely powdered eggs. I was pretty shocked. The best menu item I had was the wueso and chips. Queso was good, and the chips were as well, but very greasy.

This place is *AMAZE*

Everything I’ve had here is delicious. I just ventured and tried the asado de puerco burrito with papas and cheese this mornings and good lord I’m so glad I did!
