I Stoped in for the first Time the other day and I'm Sorry To say that I Was not impressed. I purchased a large chocolate shake through the drive up. I don't remember how much it cost, but I do remember it was pretty expensive. At 76 years old, I have had my share of chocolate shakes. I have heard that this establishment has great ice cream and shakes. But the one I had was just not quite even average and as expensive as it is, I probably will not be going back anytime soon. I do have to say the young lady that was working there was very. friendly.
First time trying this establishment after wanting to go for some time. Didn't disappoint! Had two things, the Alamo soda and the cookie monster ice cream. The soda was delicious, on par with some of the combinations I've tried elsewhere. Same goes with the ice cream, my only letdown was that it was a tad bit too soft so it melted rather quickly. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other stuff on the menu!
Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed with this ice cream shop. They let out the big advertisement for the “Non-Dairy” and “Gluten Free” ice creams being the Dirt & Worms, Choco-Berry, and Mega-Mint. Don’t get me wrong the Mega-Mint IS going to obviously be gluten free & dairy free. I was over the moon to give these a shot as I had this ice cream shop growing up. But my disappointment was the fact that 2 out of the 3 that are labeled as gluten & dairy free on their menu is not actually gluten and dairy free. The Dirt & worms has oreo's in there which is NOT gluten or dairy free. Next, the Choco-berry is also not dairy free as it has chocolate in there. Having allergens like these is hard enough without companies falsely advertising their products being free of these allergens. I completely understand the ice cream itself is free of dairy & gluten. But the ice cream itself isn’t what’s being advertised as gluten and dairy free online or directly on their menu. Do NOT advertise the ‘fan favorites’ on the menus directly as being gluten & dairy free. I even asked the sweet lady taking our order why these were being advertised as not having these allergens and she even said “I don’t understand what our manager was doing or thinking”, she even knew that these were falsely advertised! That is extremely misleading and could cause someone harm if they don’t know that specific ingredients in these concretes would have gluten or dairy like I do. Do better! Will not be returning!
Good every time! We love the royal turtle!
Best non dairy ice cream in Lubbock!!! Thrilled for having multiple options that aren’t just sherbet, but actual ice cream. So thankful I can actually enjoy a sweet treat with everyone without feeling excluded ❤️
Love this place. Great selection and awesome staff
Today the drive through customer service was absolutely terrible. It was 4:30 pm not very busy, and we felt rushed and not welcome. Very disappointed.
Was amazing and awesome staff
Slow Slow Slow. No worth the wait
This used to be one of our favorite local spots for ice cream, but after tonight I think we’ll be looking for a new one. I ordered the Cosmic Brownie, and it was literally just chocolate ice cream—no brownies or anything in it. My daughter got the Blue Cookie Monster and only had about half of a Oreo in it. My husband ordered the Turtle Chow, and it was the same as mine—just plain chocolate ice cream with none of the extras that are supposed to be in it.
We basically spent $21 for plain ice cream. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time it’s happened. The last few visits have been the same—very skimpy on add-ins, really disappointing for a place we used to love.

Fun fact: J’s Creamery only chains in Texas and they offer vintage T-shirts and hoodies.
I had a wonderful evening peacefully here because their open space area is suitable for family and friends to hang around and talk.
My favorite is mocha almond because I am not a sweet toothed (my sweet level is 8/10). I reckon you couldn’t go wrong with their cone, sundae, or frappe as well. Weekends are quite busy, though, but weekdays are just yours.
More importantly, the waiting time is quite short even lots of people around. The freshly made cream is unparalleled. But I still hold Talenti Gelato as my favorite because of its super milky and silky flavor. Other than that this is ur best choice to enjoy the sweet.
love the ice cream
The Best creamery in town!💕🥰
Best concrete flavors around, fast and consistent
This is one of my fave places to get dessert from! You can’t go wrong with anything you choose off the menu, everything is always fresh and delicious! Friendly staff and in a great spot! This is also one of our fave places that our boss gets us an afternoon pick-me-up from at work. Would give 10 stars if I could!
