Lit Brews - Coffee Shop and Book Store Lubbock

The best coffee/bookshop in town.

I don’t get coffee very often but I decided to try out Lit Brews and it was a great choice!

As soon as I walked in, it only felt natural to check out the books and I ended up buying a used hardback for cheap and a new one by a local author.

I didn’t really know what I wanted but the people there are very sweet

The chill music was just the right volume so it didn’t feel like every conversation could be heard
There’s wi-fi and outlets by all the seats, so I could definitely see myself coming back the next time I work remotely.

If you like coffee on the sweeter side, I definitely recommend Gandalf’s Oasis Mocha! (dubai chocolate mocha w/pistachio)

My husband got the Gandalf I think- it really tasted like a toasty little marshmallow and it was delicious I got the Dubai chocolate iced with whole milk (pictured) and it was good but the marshmallow was so so good

We had a last minute idea to have coffee with family, and Lit Brews came through! The owner was very accommodating to our group size and the environment was amazing!!! We will be back again! Thank you, Lit Brews!

Lit Brews has an atmosphere like no other in Lubbock. It’s one of those places that just feels good the second you walk into… cozy, welcoming, and easy to settle into whether you’re meeting friends or just coming by yourself for some quiet time. Their drinks go way beyond your typical coffee shop. The coconut mocha is unreal, the London Fog feels a little fancy in the best way, and their matcha is delicious. Everything feels thoughtfully made. And the books… I’ve yet to meet someone who walked out with just one. Somehow you always find exactly what you were looking for ~ plus a few you didn’t know you needed. Hands down one of the best spots in Lubbock.
