My sushi was missing from my order and when I called to let them know the lady I talked to was very rude and told me that she knew she put the sushi in the order so I shouldn’t be missing it.

Did not make us feel welcome. When we requested hot sauce, they expressed dissatisfaction with the amount they provided.

I recently visited Hibachi Express on 114th st in Lubbock]and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. The woman working at the front ( short, dark hair with face piercings) was on her phone most of the time, completely ignoring her responsibilities. When she did finally address customers, including myself, she was short, rude, and completely lacking in patience or basic courtesy.
Her tone and demeanor were unprofessional and downright impolite, making what should have been an enjoyable experience frustrating and uncomfortable. It’s unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role to behave this way. If this is the standard of service here, I won’t be returning, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Used to go to Big Spring location so maybe thats why im a bit confused with Lubbock location. Lady on phone was rude. After meeting her in person im guessing thats just how she is... spent $98 in food but get charged for sweet and sour sauce... i mean i get it.. kinda... but Big Spring location would've gladly nt charged for the sauce after spending that amount at their establishment. Food smelled great tho. Hopefully taste the same. Other location took twice as long to prepare so fingers crossed!

They gave the wrong order to DoorDash and when we notified the woman at the restaurant she started yelling and told us that in order to get the correct order that we would need to pick it up and pay again. CRAZY!!!!!!!

Like the review left by Misty I experienced incredible rudeness from the staff. I calla Togo order in 25 minutes before closing and was informed the kitchen was about to closed and they hung up on me. My wife really wanted Chinese so I persisted. The young lady who answered rudely eventually took my order on the 2nd try. At the close of the call she rattled it off back to me, got it wrong, then hung up before I could object. I called back. She picked up and hung up. I called back again. She answered. Quickly I said please listen and corrected the order. She argued with me and told me I didn’t say that. I stipulated that I may have misspoke and corrected it again. It was two entrees. I clarified the number of plates as she hung up on me again. At this point I was close to being there so I didn’t call back. Walking in a was treated to an older woman’s back for about a minute while she did something to ignore me. She finally turned, took my number, sold me my food and gave it to me. It was very expensive, but the food was delicious packaged and I did not investigate. With my food in hand I asked what the name of the young lady who took my order was as she was rude. Older lady said “We don’t give names here.” I said, “Do you not care how rude she was? I have not been treated this badly by anyone in months! I will be back tomorrow to tell the manager about my experience.” She said I’d be talking to her since she was the asst manager. I left. As I feared they charged me for three entrees. The food was ok, but not what I ordered (3times).

The lady at the front with glasses is one of the rudest employees at Hibachi Express. The new employees who come pick up her attitude. She was talking to the guy about her weekend, where she was throwing up. The newer guy was rolling his eyes at me. I asked about making my roll gluten-free, and he was not accommodating at all. He said nothing here is gluten-free, and we won't wipe down anything. I explained to him I'm not celiac, just don't eat gluten. I had to get the owner to help me. Even the owner puts up with the lady's attitude towards customers. We used to come once a week, but this lady has affected that for me and the employees she trains. I won't be back!!

If it wasn’t for the manager of this place being so kind and making it right, this review would be different, I understand mistakes happen but being in the food service customer service should be a priority. I would recommend this place to anyone and once I got my food right, it was amazing. Hoping I can find a place this good in Colorado when I move!

Love the food, but cashier lady is consistently rude (every time I’ve been in). Not sure it’s worth the drive across town anymore if I’m going to be treated poorly for ordering my food.

The lady at the front with that dark makeup and burgundy hair is so rude! She needs to work in the back so no one sees that God awful makeup and pitiful frown especially if she’s going to be rude!

The old lady with glasses at the front register was the rudest person and had no kindness at all. I was so confused on why she was being rude to me but at least the food was good. Hopefully they get better staff, the door did say Now Hiring.
