I had what had to be the worst cocktail I ever tried there. I drink plenty of liquor but both my partner and I agreed my beverage tasted like straight up rat poison or something. For how MID the food was and bad my drink was, the price was NOT worth it. The food tasted frozen and my partners meat was like touch and chewy? Seems like they are trying to overcompensate with the mid century/ hipster aesthetic, but none of that matters if what you serve isn’t good. But the bartenders are highly trained so I don’t know what I’m talking about, right? Try to listen to your customers rather than be condescending and maybe I wouldn’t walk into a nearly empty bar on a Friday night.

Manhattan 9 is a unique bar, its decoration is attractive and very peculiar, comfort and enthusiasm is felt from the moment you enter, comfortable furniture, different for all tastes, the attention you receive is great and very professional, everything clean, tidy and with very good taste, to make you feel at home, we really enjoyed this first time and we will definitely return!

So today is my 60th birthday and we’ve been wanting to go here for a while. We walked up to the door and we saw the place that they were SUPPOSED to open up so we could give them the password, but there was nobody there— we knocked but ended up just opening the door and walking in and sat at the bar— as small as this is, it IS a part of the “experience” we were looking forward to— and we had the password— that we didn’t get to experience— a bit of disappointing, especially since we’ve been meaning to go here for at least a year and for my birthday, we were really looking forward to it. The food was good, staff was good, drinks w ere good, but with the disappointment of just walking in the dirt, we could’ve gone anywhere else and gotten the same.
