Went there on a slow Tuesday night. Service was decent. Had the Crispy Corn Fritters as an appetizer and was not impressed. Very mushy and bland. Wife had a Daymaker burger and I had the Grilled Chicken Avocado Club. Both were definitely NOT worth the $29 and $21 respectively. Wife enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert. After dinner, went to the bar and enjoyed speaking with the bartender. Wife ordered an Espresso Martini but also was not impressed. She said the Narrow Bar made it better. Overall, a disappointing experience, considering the prices. Will probably not return until we hear there's been a considerable upgrade to the food. It's a shame because the decor and atmosphere is very charming.

Great place to chill on a very cold evening in Lubbock.

It was a very pleasing experience. The atmosphere was felt like quite the getaway. The music was nostalgic and just took us back in time. It was definitely a place I would visit again!

Waiting at bar to place order, took over 15 minutes, upon walking I asked waitress as she’s taking orders she tells me to go order while holding a note pad for orders. Very complicated for simple service

So…we’ve been here twice. The food has consistently been sub par. The menu looks great, but then you get the meal, the meat is over cooked and the salad is over dressed. If you come… come for the live music. It is the only redeeming factor.

I stayed at the Cotton Court twice last month and ate at the restaurant 3 times despite the poor reviews. Service was great each time which is why I kept returning. I just wish the food matched. The pepperoni pizza was just okay and would've been better if they had cleaned their pizza oven as it left a lot of burnt, charred bitter bits on the bottom of the crust. I tried the Daymaker burger another night which was the best meal of the three I had but it definitely wasn't worth $30+ and had soggy wilted lettuce. I wouldn't go back for it, though. The most disappointing was my third visit when I ordered the corn fritters and Spicy Thai Beef salad with fresh herbs. The fritters were soggy, cold and over dressed with the toppings. The beef on the salad was extremely tough, looked unappetizing, had no flavor, no spice or heat whatsoever. The salad had no thai spices or fresh herbs as advertised. It's unfortunate because the hotel is amazing, the restaurant staff is amazing but the food isn't worth it, especially the prices they're charging.

Came in and stood at by the hostess stand for 10 minutes with multiple servers looking at us and ignoring us. As a service worker myself I was shocked at the lack of mere acknowledgement. I asked if there was a host to which the server rolled her eyes after saying no and walked away. Disgusted at this establishment. Damn shame.

My husband and I went here for lunch on our anniversary. We had been here previously and enjoyed it. This time we were not even offered a drink menu when seated. We did enjoy the burgers we had for lunch. When we inquired about what the seasonal creme brûlée was we were told it was lemon. Being Fall now I might have expected something a bit different. We decided to order one to take home and enjoy later, as I had an upcoming afternoon appointment. When it was brought to us, it only filled 1/2 of a pretty small styrofoam cup that you might put a side condiment in. To say I was disappointed would be kind. I believe the dessert was at least $8 maybe more and MAYBE we could each get 2 small bites out of it. Not really worth it. I'm not sure we will be going back anytime soon.

Such a cute place, and I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, I ordered the salmon (which was on the pricier side) and became very sick later that night. I believe the salmon dish gave me food poisoning. Really disappointed, because I had high hopes for this spot.

In town for an event and loved that I could walk over to the restaurant from my hotel! I ordered the pork belly sliders that Trent recommended and they were AMAZING! Loved the environment, food came quickly and I left nothing on the plate! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Game day Saturday and the restaurant was clearly understaffed and unprepared for a crowd. We waited 20 minutes for a table and 30 minutes after we ordered. The food came and one breakfast was wrong and the others were not great! Ordered Guns up breakfast which had cold sausage, undercooked hash browns and runny eggs. $80 later we left completely underwhelmed! We had to ask for silverware and napkins and had zero condiments with breakfast.

Stopped in at Midnight Shift in Lubbock and it did not disappoint. The crusted pecan chicken was outstanding. One of those meals you think about later and wish you had in front of you again. The service was exceptional from start to finish, attentive without being overbearing. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t packed, which made the experience even more relaxed. Definitely worth the time to visit if you’re in town.

We just finished a two night stay at Cotton Court and were so excited to try the restaurant. The first night we had cheese curds, scallops, elk chops, and the steak and Brie melt. The appetizers were good. The entrees were lacking. The elk chops were so salty we weren’t able to eat them. However, our servers were so great and the atmosphere was fun so we decided to try again the second night. We tried different apps and entrees this time and it was a similar experience. We got the charcuterie, peach wings, the steak and the quail. The peach wings were excellent. The charcuterie was disappointing. The quail was good. The grains were served with whole peppercorn mixed in and those bites were unpleasant. The steak was again so salty that we couldn’t eat it. My husband tried the blueberry pie and enjoyed it. The menu was extremely hit or miss.
Overall, the service is the only thing that would keep us coming back. James, Trent, Carolina, and Sydney were all so accommodating, kind, and fun. Five stars for service. Two stars for food.

Absolutely delicious food, great service, and fast. Kind staff and quiet atmosphere. Clearly this is a very nice place. It's one step from requiring a dress code. They mean business when it comes to their mixed drinks and cocktails🍸
