Decided on their poppers, rib plate and brisket sandwich. First off, great service by the young man at the counter. I'll start with the sides because they were exceptionally good. I ordered the two-meat plate, ribs and sliced brisket with cole slaw and dried okra.
The okra was freshly cooked, while the Cole slaw was a bit basic it was better with salt and pepper.
Both of the meats were on the dry side. The ribs were the better tasting of the two. Dipping in the sauce brought some moisture.
The plate also came with a generous portion of thick-cut potato chips. This meal could be easily split for two...

Food was brave with flavor, tender as kindness and cheap to eat!
