Saffron & Spice brings a charming medley of warm, spicy Indian flavor that melds well with west Texas palates without being overwhelming.
From the potato bhaji to her butter chicken, the aromas of her amazing food fill my car and I'm salivating by the time I get home and dig into each dish.
I really enjoyed the chowli curry, the depth of flavor was incredible. This is the type of comfort food that I want when I'm getting over a cold - satiating, warm, comforting, and easy to eat.
And the beef! Oh, the beef. My husband and I were fighting over the last bite of keema pav.
I'm regularly watching the Saffron and Spice page for new foods debuting at Saturday pickup. Our home smells amazing around 12:45pm on Saturdays, thanks to Pooja.

We went out to Llano Winery’s Grape Day today. The samples from here were amazing, but we were swept off our feet with the lunch we ordered here. Some of the best Indian food in Lubbock. I had chicken massala and my husband had beef Massala. Both absolutely amazing huge portion for the price.
