Tried their buffet lunch today. Great location on the 9th floor over looking some of the Texas Tech campus. Background, this is a training restaurant for the Texas Tech . We had a great lunch at Skyviews. The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. The salad bar was ample and the choices were plentiful. Each day there is a different theme. We had pot roast and chicken tenders. The drink is not included in the price. We like the environment which is peaceful. Even though it is included in Open Table, there is no one to check you in. Their schedule is connected with Texas Tech .
The lunch buffet today was very cold, the food tasted good but cold. It's really hard to get passed cold shrimp and grits. Views are great, Love the concept, menu choice great. Price was great. I hope tech allows the funds to fix whatever is wrong with the buffet steam tables. Cold food is a huge risk. I will be returning to try a dinner series next couple of weeks nevertheless.
