“I ordered the chicken fried steak, and as someone who really loves CFS, I was disappointed. While the portion size was generous, the steak itself seemed to have been fried against the bottom of the pan, or set for a period of time on parchment to seal a thick, flat sheet of crust that was greasy rather than crispy. I had to add a lot of pepper just to get some flavor. The mashed potatoes were also bland. I will not be ordering anything that is fried on their menu. On the positive side, the wedge salad was amazing, and the bread pudding reminded me of New Orleans — absolutely delicious. The bread service was inconsistent: the first round was dry and stale, but the second round was hot and fresh, which made me feel like the initial serving had simply been sitting out. If it hadn’t been for the salad and dessert, I would have spoken up about the meal. I was also disappointed to see cardboard boxes stacked in a way that hid the distillery from my view. That said, the service was truly amazing, and the staff were the highlight of the experience.“

“Not your ordinary steak house. You walk in order get your salad from the salad bar and wait for your steak to arrive at your table. We were in and out in about 35 minutes. Steak was fantastic cooked to perfection. Salad bar has a variety of choices. Try them out.“

“My significant other and I tried Steak Express tonight for the first time via Pick Up. I put in an order through the app, and was ready on time, and pick up was easy! The staff was very friendly! Food was very hot and fresh even after the drive back to Wolfforth! Steaks were both cooked as requested, and the flavor was amazing! Tender with a bit of chew. Baked potatoes were very soft, and just right. We also tried the grilled onions and got a lot, there was enough for both our steaks as well as putting on our potatoes. This experience was so good I even called and told the lady on the phone that we appreciate their service, and the food was amazing. I know it's not much but I figured getting a call about how good our experience was, is better than hearing complaints or anything. Definitely will be back again in the future!“

“The sweet potato was excellent. But my filet medallions were tough. nothing near the quality we're used to at TRH. Normally the meat is usually excellent. these tasted that something fishy was used on them. awful.“

“I went to eat there Friday night and my server Tera was amazing she gave the best service for our 20 top. But I could hear there manager yelling and demeaning the service staff the entire night. You could hear her from the back from across the restaurant bullying the staff and screamig. This is not a good manger and needs to be reevaluated as a team member. The service was so amazing but the management needs a big fix.“
