Black girl working the register provides poor service. Was waiting 20 mins for an order with people who ordered after me. Had to get a different worker to help

I love coming here! The fish always tastes super fresh and I have an addiction to the hushpuppies. I literally order 2-3 dozen to-go when I come here!

It was 8 pm on Friday night. We waited in the drive thru line for 40 minutes. When we finally got up to the window, there were 4 people standing around laughing and talking. The line behind us had at least 10 cars in it. I do not understand why they are not cooking as fast as they can when they are so busy. I’m sure part of it was that it was Lent. Poorly run outfit. At least the food is good!!!

Outside trash was not taken out and tables and chairs were not clean. Overall, good.

Went here for the first time today and sat inside. The staff was friendly. I got the big easy with zucchini and beignets. The give you just enough to not still be hungry but you won’t be stuffed. The food was really good. The beignets were tough and overcooked. But my main concern was the cleanliness. The dining room is in desperate need of a deep clean and maybe a different set up for sanitary reasons. It wasn’t filthy but just looks like it’s never properly cleaned. Lots of crumbs and food dust everywhere. And when I went there was nobody there but me, There are community seasoning containers vinegar and hot sauce bottles salt and pepper shakers and they’re gross. Like people eating with dirty hands use them and then they’re not properly cleaned. They use house hold paper towel rolls and the holders are dirty. The community lemons are in an open container on the counter. All I could think about is spit skin flakes and dust. The forks and spoons are all open together in open holes in the counter but thankfully they also have plastic cutlery sets. The women’s bathroom wasn’t filthy but it needed to be cleaned. The place gave me the heebie jeebies honestly. While I can be anal, I still think it should be addressed. The kitchen looked clean the workers were changing gloves often and the food was good so next time I’ll go through the drive through lol

It was family's first time here and we were so disappointed because I heard so many great things about The Catch. We ate inside at lunchtime on Saturday Feb 15. The cashier was very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a crab boil and shrimp boil and after 20-30 minutes of waiting, it came out ice cold. The seafood did not taste fresh, it was poorly seasoned, and the potatoes still had a dirt taste to them. We didn't have enough time to complain and then get it remade so we just left after a few bites. Waste of $50. Maybe the fried foods are better but I wouldn't recommend the boils to anyone.

Went to The Catch on 82nd. While waiting on my order I observed a girl behind the counter picking items out from my food and throwing on the floor. I asked what she was picking out of my food and she said she didn’t remember doing that. Then she said if I was I was removing bad fried rice that gets burnt and hard. I asked for my money back and she said you’re being ridiculous, I was doing that for your protection!! I got my money back. They fail basic restaurant educate

Worst restaurant. Garbage service and also have no clue what customer service is . Over expensive food. Spend your money somewhere else.

Ordinarily The Catch is one of our don’t miss spots when traveling but this one has kinks it needs to address. My favorite is shrimp and grits but not available here. Fine, I’ll have boudain balls (nope, they’re out). Okay grilled shrimp and red beans and rice which were both very tasty. Wanted a free margarita but all free drinks and beer were out. Clueless teenage cashier reported only manager could refill and they were working in the kitchen. No apology, no offer to get refilled. Truly not the teenager’s fault. Manager should not have let drinks run completely out.
