Absolutely love this place. Great treats and wonderful owners. Every time I visit I feel welcomed and appreciated. This is also the only place in town that OFFERED to make my most craveable confectionary masterpiece - the frosted kolachi (AKA, frosted pig in a blanket). The absolute MOST delicious mashup of sweet and savory with their delicious dough. MMMMMMMMMM YUM!

I grew up in Amarillo, and was more than excited to hear about a location opening up in Lubbock. My favorite donut is the cinnamon cluster, found only at Donut Stop. I went on one of their days they were practicing and got one. The owner was there. I ordered my cluster and as soon as they handed it to me, I said that is not the cluster. It was too flat. He insisted it was. I told him it wasn't supposed to look like that. He insisted it did. I told him,, this is my favorite donut, I have ordered them many times before. It said it was his favorite also, and insisted it was correct. I tried it. It was very tough. Not fluffy like what I received in Amarillo, many, many times. I am really sad that he was as closed minded as he was and unable to accept criticism.

I had such a great experience at this place, I had to pick up donuts for a work meeting and needed 4 dozen donuts. The owner personally helped me out, he gave me all kinds of donuts and even threw in a few extra at no charge! It was very cold that morning and he also offered to carry them out to my car! He had no jacket on but he insisted on helping me out, now that’s what I call great customer service! Customer service was exactly what my work meeting was going to be about, I used his example of what great customer service can do for your business, he not only met my business needs he went the extra mile. The donuts were a hit at work, especially the cherry glazed donuts. I can inhale those things! I recommend to all, you will NOT be disappointed!

First and last time customer. Ordered 4 Kolachis, they come wrapped in saran wrap. Got home to eat them, and they tasted terrible. The bread had plastic taste from the saran. The "meat" did not even remotely taste like meat. Not sure what is going on at this location, but it ain't food.

The strangest tasting donuts I've had in my entire life. Tasted like they used some sort of Italian bread. The "kolache" was half of a bratwurst shoved inside the bread. Gross. Do not recommend.

BEST donuts in Lubbock! Hands down! Doughy, nice fried crisp on outside, and tasty icing!!!! Not your normal donut!
Not very friendly. My chocolate donut was really soft to the point is was mushing in my hand. Their location is not convenient. I only been there 2 times and that was because I was in a hurry and their not busy.

I absolutely LOVE this donut place! They literally have the best donuts in town! Always made the day the sell them, unlike all the other places that make their donuts the day before, refrigerate them and the sell them the next day! Which to me isn't made fresh daily. The donut stop has great prices and my favorite is the Cherry!! So soft, and actually fresh! Everyone please come by and try at least one donut! Your taste buds will love you for it
