My favorite food of all time is Japanese cuisine! With an avocado and sesame allergy it becomes hard to find restaurants that are able to modify or accommodate me and my allergies.
I tried Yanagi Ramen being optimistic yet not super hopeful because of other restaurants I had tried in the past. After letting my waitress know my allergies and concerns she immediately wrote everything down and made me feel like my allergies would never be a problem in this establishment. I watched her walk over to a fellow coworker and they reviewed the menu. To my surprise I could have everything!!
This is how a restaurant should work allowing anyone and everyone to eat a nice meal. The food was absolutely delicious, even my boyfriend who doesn’t care for sushi LOVED the Maki roll.
I highly recommend this restaurant I have now been twice and the food has always been delicious and service is fantastic. Both waitresses I have had have been very sweet, attentive, and most important didn’t make me feel like my allergies were a problem.
10/10 would go to this restaurant again and I highly suggest everyone to try it out!

We went at around 6pm for dinner, and experienced a 20 minute wait before being seated. The food came out fairly slowly, however with a full restaurant and waiting patrons, this is completely understandable and made the meal leisurely and enjoyable to not be rushed. We left with leftovers at 8pm.

The food was excellent, and was exactly what I expected at a Raman restaurant. They had a great Salmon Roll, and their build-your-own Raman made things very easy to enjoy, especially when you do not think you will enjoy their main Raman recipes. The only concern with others in my party was that things were somewhat bland - it just depends on how much flavor you want.

The service was great as well, with kind and cheerful waiters. The service was somewhat slow, but again, with a full restaurant, it was clear they were having to move around quickly to keep things going, and it is difficult to attend deeply to each table.

The atmosphere was pretty good, though it did get somewhat noisy due to the flood of patrons inside. They decorated with modern-Japanese-appearing decor, which was a nice touch, and our whole party loved the nice fountain by the front door and waiting area. They had one TV playing football preseason without volume, so it was not overly distracting, but anyone interested in watching it had the possibility.

Overall, I would without a doubt go again for a meal.

Also, to note: during our 20 minutes of waiting, we saw approximately 6 different DoorDash delivery drivers drop by for orders.

Terrible service, sat at our table for 30 min after finishing our food to finally get our check, then waited another 20 before they picked up the check not to mention the wait for our food. The food was good if not a bit bland.

I would say the food is decent but I felt that they could have done better. When I had received my miso soup it was warm but a bit cold. When I had asked for a remake the server had given me attitude and that had made me feel unimportant and dismissed.

The food was alright but it seems like they copied Hayashi menu. I feel like it was mediocre with sum what giving lack luster on their bmw roll. Not trying to trash but hey there’s always room for improvement.

The food is mediocre at best. Everything seems frozen and reheated. They stole the exact sushi menu from Hayashi. Really sad and little restaurant. Came in a Wednesday night and there’s 3 tables and the owner is sitting at one of them. I can understand why.

The place just seemed dead.

We were driving through Lubbock and we were craving some ramen so we decided to stop and try this and it did not disappoint! The food was really good! We had the seafood and the spicy ramen and they were both delicious. The portions are great and the our server Angelita did a fantastic job!

My girlfriend is japanese and she says it's the best ramen restaurant in Lubbock bar none! They always let us split the ramen in two bowls, and we always order the Takoyaki.
