Great American Cookies

All American Cookie in the Lufkin Mall is an absolute disgrace. The customer service is rude and dismissive, the cookies are poorly made, and the drink machine has been broken for what feels like forever. My son purchased a cookie that was raw in the middle, and when we pointed it out, the response was, “So, it’s supposed to be like that; it’s chewy.” That excuse is insulting. Not only was the cookie undercooked, but it actually made my son ill. Serving unsafe food and brushing off customers is completely unacceptable. This location clearly doesn’t care about quality or its customers, and we will never waste our money here again.

Like to stop for a cookie and a drink. Staff is always nice and friendly.

I drove across town to get a cookie and they were close and on their website it says they close at 7 but it was 5:56. Change the time y’all close so people not driving here for nothing

I usually have good experiences with this place but yesterday I order a cookie cake and it looked terrible. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but it was really disappointing. I wanted the balloon design and I paid the expensive price of $40 for it and it was crunchy…they overcooked it and the design didn’t look anything like the picture, i decided not to ask for a refund because i had a bday dinner in 30 mins that needed a cake there. Will most likely not order from here in the future.

I went to pick up my cookie cake that I placed online 3 days in advance, when I got there the cake was not made and apparently the cake decorator went home without calling and letting me know my order was going to be cancelled like she was supposed to. I now have a birthday party and no cake, happy freaking birthday. ?

I called and spoke to a very friendly lady to order the cookie cake for my little boys 9th birthday. I told her what I wanted it to say, told her the theme, and tried to describe the picture, but words failed me. Well, the decorator and staff READ MY MIND. I picked up the cake and it was better than I had imagined, because I didn't describe it well. Well done, GAC, especially Jane, the decorator, phone answered 1 and 2!!

They dropped the ball on my son's 3rd birthday cookie. Didn't even make it. I had to go to Gaslight Brookshire Brothers bakery who did a phenomenal job with only a 2 hour notice.
