This Hampton Inn and Suites was a pleasant experience and has renewed my confidence in the Hampton Inn brand after a couple of bad experiences at other locations. Jason was polite and efficient at check in and assigned us to a quiet room on the top floor, away from highway noise. The hotel common areas and our room were clean and appeared newly updated. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare but was presented in an appetizing manner in a brightly lit room.
Spent one night at this Hampton Inn in Lufkin. I found the room to be sparkling clean and the staff to be most courteous and helpful. I got the feeling that they really understood what hospitality was. I was treated more like a guest in their home that a guest in a hotel.
We were looking at a place to stay on our way to Houston. This was a great location on our way and just the right distance from Houston. It was a almost new hotel with great service. There were many restaurants near by and there was a Ralph and Cakoos for great seafood less than five minutes away.
