Our first time. Came highly recommended. I got the chorizo and egg plate. Food came out very hot, which I love. 4 tortillas. Love their chips, Pico and red sauce. Has a kick. We got there about 8am Sunday. By 8:30, line was almost out the door. Very popular spot. Their Express is closer, so we'll try that one next time.

Service was terrible, one thing of chips n salsa for 3 people at the table. Pastor meat over cooked and Barbacoa looked smelt and tasted like cat food.. Worst little Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too!!

What an incredible find. Savory Barbacoa tacos, incredible enchiladas, the best rice I've probably had. I really don't review much but this place was an incredible find. The chorizo con huevo was also incredible, paired well with the crispy hash browns and solid beans. Both the chicken and the beef are quite nice, and the chips were fresh. Altogether I can certainly see why the doors kept opening for new orders, both to-go and to-stay. Next time I'm in Luftkin I'll be back here, for sure. Sorry for forgetting before pictures hah.

Yep, 5 stars all around. Momma in the back killing it. Food was traditional, good and fast. Pricing was below average and she brought chips and salsa which want expected. They keep over head down which allows for good food and a good price. Fajita tacos, rice with authentic beans were our favorite of 2 mixed plates.

Best place to get tamales. Great food. Great staff. Dine in or carry out. Limited tight parking but it’s always busy so never an issue finding a spot. Local favorite. Great family meal options. Anything you get here is guaranteed, fresh and delicious.

I just walked out of this place. The service is terrible its 12 noon and five guys are lined up at the counter. The cashier is in back doing idk what but i waited like 15 min. She could at least acknowledge the people in line and say im coming. Nothing from her acting like we arent there. She has alwasy been a little rude but today i decided im done with this place. I just stop due to convenience anyway. The food is ok but there are plenty of other places in lufkin with just as good or better food but definitely better service
