“What can I say about this place?! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I was visiting from Alexandria, Louisiana with a friend who grew up in Lufkin and she suggested this place and boy I am so glad she did! The place is very clean and the people are quite friendly. Our order was ready in minutes and the food. OH MY GOSH, THE FOOD!!!!!!!! I have no words. All I can say is IT WAS A BLESSING TO THE SOUL!!!!!!!!! Next time I am in Lufkin, this will be the go-to place.“

“so glad we found this hidden gem...they close at 3 and we arrived after 2. everything was fresh...buffet was well stocked with homemade food...everything tidy...we were not rushed...when we left there was people still eating and the buffet was still fully stocked...they did not start breaking it down or asking people if they were finished. awesome job“

“The vibe, service and food was amazing. I ordered CARIBBEAN JERK wings they were good with the perfect kick of spice. My girlfriend and stepson ordered some burgers they said them burgers were the bomb. The beers were ice cold so I enjoyed them as well. I will definitely come back to this location.“

“Maybe I'm biased, but working on the ILS/radios here over the years, I have never had a bad experience at the cafe! Lunch at the airport is what I always look forward to when heading to Lufkin! Fries & the Jr burger are enough to fill an adult up. A full size burger might leave you feeling woozy, like you ate too much! ;) Don't say I didn't warn you! I've brought my family here a couple times when the kids were still young enough to enjoy visiting the nearby Lufkin Zoo (another hidden gem).“

“I was aware of delicious coffee and pastries, but I had no idea about the lunch menu at the Standpipe! I just finished one of the most delicious Gyros I have ever eaten. As if this experience couldn’t be any better - I ordered online from my office, walked over on this beautiful day and picked it up at the end of the counter. I love it when delicious meets convenient!“
