There was an umbrella set up for the customers at the UD games and she came out to move the umbrella to provide shade for an elderly family member. “Stumbled upon this spot with my wife last night, and wow—what a treat! This place is hands-down one of Houston’s best-kept secrets. The owner is nothing short of a culinary genius, crafting some of the most inventive and flavorful pizza combinations I’ve ever had. Seriously, you’re a mad scientist of flavor and texture!
One standout is “The Bourdain,” a tribute to the legendary Anthony Bourdain. Let me just say—holy freaking moly! This pizza isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. Every bite showcases a deep understanding and love of food, and the creativity behind the menu is undeniable.
As a native New Yorker and lifelong pizza connoisseur, I can confidently say this place holds its own against some of the best pies I’ve ever had. One of the best things about Deacon Baldy’s is the crowd it attracts. You can tell a lot about a place by its patrons, and here, it’s all super chill, friendly people. “The best hamburger I have ever eaten, and they are local in Magnolia!! Pineapple hamburger is probably my favorite by far of all the ones I have tried there. But they are all sooooooooooooooooo good. I will definitely be going back for more. Thank you Superburger for making my day super🦸“

“Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back. I’ve got my eyes on the ribs next. Well done BBQ Godfather.“
