7.14.23 My hubby and I were on vacation a few years ago on our anniversary and we stopped at a Kroger to buy a cake to celebrate. The cake was delicious! So now every birthday or anniversary we buy this cake from Kroger. It was our 34th anniversary so we stopped at the closest Kroger near our new house and wanted that cake. This location was out of it but they had one that was similar (but not as good). There was a nice selection of cakes and pies. I always love looking at Kroger's flowers selection. They always have a lot of beautiful ones. I would stop here again.

The Bakery Department Manager at this location is amazing! I have been searching everywhere for Saint Patrick's day sprinkles the day before the holiday and as a last resort I figured I would ask if the bakery had any to spare. The manager went above and beyond and separated some of their stash into a container for me to take home. Life saver!

To Latonia in the pharmacy department; The sign clearly reads 10::00-6:00 pm as your hours. Your job therefore ends at 6:01(or after your closing duties) it does NOT however end at 5:57 which is when I came through the drive through. Your attitude was over the top and unnecessary. I get that you have other places to be and work sucks but you signed up for the job not me so I don't need your MULTIPLE head shakes and huff and puffs and eye rolling. Getting my medicine for COVid was important. I don't much care why I got the attitude but I suggest you change it or you will never be successful in life.

Pharmacy is horrible. It just gets worse and worse. Everytime we fill an RX they don't start to fillIt until we show up, even if it's 10 hours later!!! We always have to wait 30 min after arriving!!!

Why 3 stars? Because it's fine for our neighborhood grocery store. --- --- ---When I say "fine", I mean it works. It's a pretty typical grocery store. Nothing stands out that makes it remarkable. To be honest, I'd probably shop at HEB, but Kroger is just a little bit closer to us.Easily, my biggest pet peeve is that they almost always only have one actual register open. At most, they have two. I'm fine to self check-out when I just have a few items, but I usually have at least 20 things, so it's kind of a huge pain to self check-out. Plus, something usually requires the manager to come over and put in their approval, which kind of defeats the purpose of the "self" checkout.The store itself, is again, fine. I feel like I have a stronger appreciation for Publix now that I've been shopping here. Publix was always just a bit brighter/cleaner and they always had multiple check-out lanes open.

It is very inconvenient to use this Kroger on 1488 now because they allow street vendors to sell political flags with profanity in the parking lot where you enter! I can not take my children here now so this is the last time I will go to this store! I tried to call to let them know but both times i was put on hold and then hung up on when they finally picked up the phone, before I could even say anything. I guess customer feedback doesn't matter so I decided to leave a review to warn other parents who may shop here and don't want their children exposed to profanity! It is a grocery store not political rally!

It's a small Kroger's compared to the other stores. The layout of it is very different and it could be because it's small. The cashiers were nice. They were short on baggers. They were social distancing with the X in the floor but with the store so small it's hard too. The parking lot is packed. Not enough parking, but easy access to 1488.

They are not encouraging people to wear their mask. I felt very uncomfortable shopping with my daughter. I have no issue with those who choose to not wear one, but please respect those who do. I had a lady who decided to follow me around the store without a mask. Unbelievable!
