Stopped by Maxine’s Gumbo House for some crawfish and it did not disappoint! The crawfish was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, great service, and amazing crawfish. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!🦞👏

Maxine's Gumbo House was just that good. I had a shrimp po boy and crawfish egg rolls.
I'm threatening to take that 1hr 16min drive back to Elgin. Bread was soft just like home(NOLA). The crawfish egg rolls was bomb..I just keep saying hmm with every bit😋
