“Pretty good taco truck in the area! I got the quesabirria plate and one gordita campechana. The quesabirrias were filled with plenty of meat (some taco trucks tend to skimp out) but it was lacking in seasonings. It was a bit bland buuuuut those salsas were SO good it made up for it. The red one was really spicy and the green one was creamy plus had good flavor. The consomé was also pretty bomb and not oily like some other places. I would defs get this plate again. Now on to the gordita, I don’t know about y’all but I’m used to only having meat, cheese, and beans in my gorditas so this one threw me off in the best way possible. It had lettuce, queso fresco, and sour cream. At first I didn’t know what to think from appearance alone, but that first bite was so crispy and flavorful that I was immediately hooked. I had never had a variation like this one and I’m definitely a fan. You def have to check this place out - will be coming again in the future!“

“Due to the bad weather, the park where we planned our family reunion and sons birthday party closed because of flooding. I spoke with Andy and Shafa at La Cocina de Sam, who has wonderful food to assist with preparing food for 20+ people. We ordered pizza's, wings, and chicken tenders (excellent prices and great food). I also ordered a burrito bowl which my niece said it was better than Chipotle. All of the food was a great hit, especially the Mango Habanero wings. Food went so fast, I didn't have time to take pictures. Thank you to the friendly and wonderful staff for making son's party a success.“

“I go here pretty often when i need my taco fix. I would say on average itll take 8-10m for her to get your order ready. I had to leave a review because her beans actually have vienna sausages or hotdogs in them. The beans actually have spices and flavor to it compared to other trucks. I like it. Its good. I also tried the watermelon agua fresca. It was massive and very refreshing for the summer heat. Will definitely try the other drinks later.All the typical stuff you will find at a taco food truck is here. Homegirl is solid.“
