“This hotel far exceeded our expectations, everything from the remarkable staff to the detail of the hotel itself, the bar, outside areas, and ambience. Even the little things like the quality of the rooms (mattress, blankets, decor) even the bathroom sink and shower is beautiful! The food we ordered from the bar was delicious (crab cakes were scrumptious) and cocktails top-notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We talked about being on a road trip and the staff gave us some awesome pointers and suggestions, and the hotel guests sitting beside us joined in the conversation and we talked about the history of the hotel and things to do in the area for 2 hours! What an amazing experience. Thank you to the owners for making such an incredible investment and to those (staff) who make it successful. I certainly hope we find our way back here someday! Anyone who gives it less than 5 stars probably can’t be made happy anyway. This is an absolute gem.”

“Awesome coffee and service”

“We stumbled upon Glassy Coffee on our way back from Big Bend to Dallas. We had a WONDERFUL experience. Coffee and croissants are even better than many fancy places in Dallas and so were the burritos. We greatly enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area. Highly highly recommended!”

“Great little Gas Station Lunch Counter. We stopped here on our way to Big Bend. Hamburgers were ordered.

What we received was a classic burger like you would cook at home. All with fresh ingredients and really good fries and onion rings.

Limited seating but you can always go outside.

“The dinner was very delicious, the place is quite nice. The perfect place to dine and have a good time with friends and family next to the fireplace. Everything is very nice. The only thing that wasn't delicious was the Brisket that comes with the nachos. It was very dry and not at all pleasant.
The Chicken Fried Steak is very delicious and the Chicken Tenders are also very good,👍”
