Stopped here on our way out of Big Bend. Service was excellent and my husband said the bacon cheese burger was one of the best he's ever had. I ordered the chalupa plate and it was okay. The refried beans didn't have seasoning/flavor and the Spanish rice was also a bit lackluster flavor-wise. My son ordered the red beef enchiladas and he said they were okay. Having said all that, it was the first warm meal in a few days so it got the spot.
Food was slightly on the bottom side of average. There aren't a lot of options in Marathon but I'll look for something else next time. But... If someone invites me to meet them there for lunch, I'll go back and try it again.
Best hamburgers we have had anywhere!!! (Even home.) Super people, super service. We have eaten here every day of our visit, trying something different each time. Mexican food is great too.
