“This hotel far exceeded our expectations, everything from the remarkable staff to the detail of the hotel itself, the bar, outside areas, and ambience. Even the little things like the quality of the rooms (mattress, blankets, decor) even the bathroom sink and shower is beautiful! The food we ordered from the bar was delicious (crab cakes were scrumptious) and cocktails top-notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We talked about being on a road trip and the staff gave us some awesome pointers and suggestions, and the hotel guests sitting beside us joined in the conversation and we talked about the history of the hotel and things to do in the area for 2 hours! What an amazing experience. Thank you to the owners for making such an incredible investment and to those (staff) who make it successful. I certainly hope we find our way back here someday! Anyone who gives it less than 5 stars probably can’t be made happy anyway. This is an absolute gem.“
