“Menu changes daily but each time we went we had a good cup of coffee and a pastry. On our 2 visits we had orange cranberry scones, which melted in your mouth. Hot honey cornbread, that's what their famous for and for good reason. Pumpkin muffins and chocolate chip cookies. If you're in Marfa do not miss this spot, it's so worth it!“

You won't go away hungry, Burritos are on point and filling even for a fat man like me. Staff super friendly and kind with smiles all around. I ordered the Carne & Cuṅada Burritos.
plenty of seating outside and more intimate inside. Sticker friendly as well as sharpie marker friendly ( keep it pg13 please).

“I get the feeling people are missing this place because it's not in a spot with natural foot traffic. But if you see this review, I promise you won't regret having lunch here. Probably the best torta I ever had. The bread was out of this world, as well as the steak and the sauces. 1000% recommended. Lovely lady running the place too.“

“Absolutely phenomenal. The steak will literally melt in your mouth. The mixed drinks are great and the appetizers have a unique flavor/spices combination. I would recommend this 100% and cannot wait to be back in town to eat here again. If you do come, please do yourself a favor and try the steak - sure, you’ll be forever spoiled by it and won’t ever step inside another steak restaurant, but it will be worth it.“

“I ate last night on my drive to Big Bend National Park. I was shocked to find such a fabulous restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance and people watching was great. We had two appetizers (shrimp, and the bread) and they were excellent. I had the chicken and fried rice, and my wife had the ravioli. They were both excellent.
This restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will plan to stop here again after we visit the national park.“

“Upon my numerous and most remarkable sojourns across the vast expanse of the continental United States, traversing from sea to shining sea, I have had the distinct privilege of partaking in the offerings of many an establishment, yet never, I daresay, have I encountered one so wholly exceptional in its culinary refinement and unparalleled service. The like of this establishment, in its devotion to the art of dining and hospitality, remains unequaled in my experience. I had the fortune of meeting a man whose presence was nothing short of a revelation. His name was Phoenix, and it was he who, with the most gracious and unassuming of smiles, demonstrated that this hallowed place was not merely a provider of sustenance to the body, but a sanctuary for the soul. His warm and genial countenance, imbued with an unmistakable sincerity, belied the modesty of his station, and in his company, the wearied traveler might find not only nourishment for the body, but solace for the spirit. Indeed, it became abundantly clear that this establishment, with its elegant surroundings and attentive service, was far more than a mere refuge for the hungry—it was a veritable oasis, a hallowed retreat where weary souls, burdened by the relentless and treacherous journey that is the human condition, could find a temporary reprieve from the vicissitudes of life. Here, one could partake not only in exquisite fare but in the warmth of human kindness, that rarest of gifts, which has the power to restore and uplift the heart.”“

“Good place to hang out and watch sports. We watched an entire football game at the bar. Beware they can't turn the sound up on the game.
The bartenders were all friendly. Josh was great. Naya was very helpful too.
The food here is really pretty good. We ate there multiple times and enjoyed everything we got.“

“Warning: If Kiarra is your server, make sure you check your bank statement against the receipt. My $115 charge after tip turned into a $118 charge on my card. I filled out both receipts, took a picture of them together, and left them on the table.
Yes, it's only three dollars, but changing the tip amount is immoral and wrong.“

“I would give this 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me but it's not a fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant. I'm vegan and have to be gluten free, which is hard when traveling, especially in small towns. But they were very accommodating and made a plate filled with veggies, cranberries, beans, and nuts. for me. It was so good. And I followed it with fresh squeezed orange sorbetto. Would 100% recommend. The wait can be long but it's worth it.“
