“LaVenture in Marfa completely blew me away. The vibe is beautiful, the service was thoughtful, and the food—especially the pasta (and the pizza!!)—is a must.

It tasted like it came straight out of an Italian kitchen. So fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. You can tell they’re doing things right back there. If you’re in Marfa, do not skip stopping or staying at LaVenture / hotel Saint George—it’s worth the trip alone.“

“Absolutely phenomenal. The steak will literally melt in your mouth. The mixed drinks are great and the appetizers have a unique flavor/spices combination. I would recommend this 100% and cannot wait to be back in town to eat here again. If you do come, please do yourself a favor and try the steak - sure, you’ll be forever spoiled by it and won’t ever step inside another steak restaurant, but it will be worth it.“

“The menu simply states, "Secret Vegan Menu, Yes. " When we got to the counter we were given the choice of a pasta dish or a sandwich. We got both. The pasta was a fun shape with spinach, mint, and ground pistachio tossed in a kind of buttery vinaigrette. We devoured it, BUT THE SANDWICH was the star. Their fresh baked chiabatta-style loaf stuffed with orange slices, raspberries, arugula, green olives, red onion and dates. It was incredible. I wrote down everything I could discern in hopes of recreating it at home. It was THAT good. The vegan offering may change, but these are clearly passionate food people who know what they're doing. Whatever they offer the vegan community, it won't just be a regular menu item with the meat and cheese removed, it will be thoughtful and delicious.“

“I loved every single detail about this restaurant. The energy is amazing, and the employees are so polite and empathetic. The food is absolutely delicious.
I would give it an 11 out of 10!

The burritos, in particular, were packed with flavor, generous portions, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of textures. Honestly, one of the best burritos I’ve ever had!

To top it all off, I had the honor of meeting Miss Ramona, and she and her family were the most welcoming people ever. They treated every Guapo and Guapa in such a warm and friendly way.

Thank you!“

“Upon my numerous and most remarkable sojourns across the vast expanse of the continental United States, traversing from sea to shining sea, I have had the distinct privilege of partaking in the offerings of many an establishment, yet never, I daresay, have I encountered one so wholly exceptional in its culinary refinement and unparalleled service. The like of this establishment, in its devotion to the art of dining and hospitality, remains unequaled in my experience. I had the fortune of meeting a man whose presence was nothing short of a revelation. His name was Phoenix, and it was he who, with the most gracious and unassuming of smiles, demonstrated that this hallowed place was not merely a provider of sustenance to the body, but a sanctuary for the soul. His warm and genial countenance, imbued with an unmistakable sincerity, belied the modesty of his station, and in his company, the wearied traveler might find not only nourishment for the body, but solace for the spirit. Indeed, it became abundantly clear that this establishment, with its elegant surroundings and attentive service, was far more than a mere refuge for the hungry—it was a veritable oasis, a hallowed retreat where weary souls, burdened by the relentless and treacherous journey that is the human condition, could find a temporary reprieve from the vicissitudes of life. Here, one could partake not only in exquisite fare but in the warmth of human kindness, that rarest of gifts, which has the power to restore and uplift the heart.”“

“Warning: If Kiarra is your server, make sure you check your bank statement against the receipt. My $115 charge after tip turned into a $118 charge on my card. I filled out both receipts, took a picture of them together, and left them on the table.

Yes, it's only three dollars, but changing the tip amount is immoral and wrong.“
