The most authentic Texas BBQ I’ve ever had located in the most quaint small town. Highly recommend.

Brisket had good flavor, but a little dry. Probably mostly because we were there at 1:30 so not the best time to go to a barbecue place. Ribs were not to my taste, but absolutely not complaining. They were done very well. Jalapeño sausage was great. Creamed corn was the best. Potato salad and Mac and cheese were great also. Overall a good experience. Definitely recommend it.

This is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Everything is scratch made. Highly recommend.
This place rocked!!! It’s barbecue so be prepared to pay but it was some of the best BBQ my wife has ever had!!!! We don’t do pork so we were a bit limited but the beef ribs were the shiz-nit!!! Sides were solid, brisket was cooked excellently and we had a whole chicken which had a good combination of smoke and spice. All in all this is a well balanced BBQ place and it shows that they cook with care and love.❤️
The food is off the charts for taste and quality of meat. It's pricey but it is fair and worth every dollar. I had the brisket and sausage. The brisket was perfectly done with beautiful bark. To add it was super juicy and tender. Icing on the cake is the staff is beyond friendly and helpful!

Stopped here on the way back from a road trip in the hill country. Best barbecue I’ve ever had.
Are you confused about all the BBQ joints named Cooper's? I am. But these folks say they are the mother of all of them, and their story seems valid. And their product is very good, so I'm not refuting their story. (By the way, they don't claim to own all those other ones.)

The Goat BBQ amazes me. Everything bbq should be! Finger pickin & bone lickin. My portion is so perfectly cooked for challenging piece!

On our way back from the Texas Tech vs Oregon game we stoped in to pick up some BBQ to take home. But we decided to eat in on this visit Today they had meatloaf, beef ribs, chicken jalapeño cheese sausage, potato salad and beans. Food was so good we took plenty home. We haven't been by here in a couple of years but I have to say they have some of the nicest people working here we always feel welcomed. Small town people are awesome!
