Great tasting tacos, nachos, and quesadillas (we like everything on the menu so far.). We love their tasty sides of rice and beans. I guess the only reason I kept from giving them 5 stars is the level of questions you have to ask to ensure you get what you need. Such as with quesadillas... Be sure to ask if sour cream and/or guacamole comes with it. Also, you have to ask for salsa. They have different kinds so it can be a little hit or miss getting the kind you like. I ask for the "roasted" kind-not sure what it is called. ?

We lived there when Santos first opened, it was so good. They were the best restaurant in town. The line was out the door from the moment they opened until they closed. I still miss their chicken gorditas and refried beans. I'm so glad they're still there and going strong! I'll be back someday.

It’s not a trip to Mason without going to Santos. Pork gorditas and shrimp quesadilla - delicious!

Little place, but a great stop. Lovely staff.

Friendly service but we didn't receive any salsa in our $60.00 to go order and they don't offer enchiladas...strange for a Mexican restaurant...

They don't have many drinks. But it was good.

Authentic mexican food next to a fabulous Winery. Plan for a great meal and have a glass of Wine at Sandstone Cellars. They are next door and you can order at Santos and they will serve you at theWinery next door.
Not really a taqueria, but a gorditeria!! Really good tho. Chicken quesadilla, nachos, or the fajita bowl is one of my favorites!!

My favorite Mexican food place anywhere. When I’m out of town I look forward to coming back to have Santos. Nachos, gorditas, quesadillas, all amazing. Have it sent next door to have it with a glass of wine for a great night out.

They are always kinda busy but thats because it's very good. Flavor is outstanding. A bit pricier but high above just a 'taco stand'! They do have some seating. You get a GOOD serving. Hub ate his entire fajita bowl!! We love the quietness of Mason and will be back!

I honestly cannot believe a place like this exists in Mason. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at anywhere. I've had a few other "Mexican" meals in the area, and they were what I expected (not good). Santos blew me away. It was authentic, fresh, cooked perfectly. I immediately went in and ordered two more meals to go. My wife had one bite of my food and immediately went to order her own. This is some of the best food I've ever had--don't go anywhere else (in the area) if you want real, delicious, perfectly cooked food. You won't find it anywhere other than Santos. Side note: the winery next door is great (and I am also shocked that these two places exist in Mason) and you can get Santo's food brought over to you at the winery, which is also a coffee shop. Both places would do well in Austin, or anywhere. This might sound like an ad, but it's not. Try it for yourself.
