This place was recommended by our Charter Captain, and I am so glad we tried it! We went every day and tried different coffee flavors each day. We were not disappointed with any of the flavors we tried! The food was delicious as well. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back!
We just got home after staying a short weekend at the Stringer's Lodge. All throughout our stay we had goodies at our door from the Cafe. The cookies and scones are to die for. We got up early this morning and decided to go down for breakfast and coffee. This cafe had nothing but warm friendly smiles and great service. This is a locally owned business that provides a much needed service to Matagorda. The food is excellent, offering a variety of dishes all prepared by hand. They also offer pre-packaged frozen meals that are helpful when you've had a long day fishing or at the beach.
