“Friendly staff even though it's a small interaction. Food is good and the atmosphere is the company that you keep so with that said.... it's either good or bad but that's your choice.”

“We stop there frequently for burgers. Usually good. Today we went through the drive through because we had our dog with us. We were asked to pull around front while they made our order. We did not wait long. We pulled to a spot in the parking lot to eat. The first burger I pullout of the bag was for my wife. It was freshly cooked with hot meat and a fresh bun. My wife confirmed it was good. My burger however was COLD meat on a hard cracked and crusty bun. Worst ever. My wife said I should take it back in we were in the parking lot. I figure if the cook would serve that trash I would not trust him to make another. I can't imagine they would serve that to an inside customer. It is not that hard. We went a fresh burger. If that takes a little longer that's ok we will wait while it is cooked. If we come back (Sonic is directly across the street) I expect better. If not I will atleast bring it back in for a refund and you can save that burger for your next customer.”

The greatest bartending staff and well organized owners do a tremendous job running this bar so that others can make some pretty awesome memories. From the first time I walked in and heard the family banter between Monica and her sister and children, to the best German food this side of the Atlantic, I have been back again and again. Now I only get to go once or twice a year as I live in Tennessee (where I have yet to find comparable German fare). So Schnitzel is one of my “must do’s” every timeI am in the area. If you do not support this wonderful establishment then shame on you.”

“La Catina. Yes we address this with management. If you'd like to feel dismissed and like the laughing stock. Please visit this establishment. They know exactly how to hear that your food is incorrect and then laugh at you while you are leaving the restaurant. Furthermore, while you have the courage to discuss the matter with the hostess the wait staff is will continue laughing at you. We did request to speak to the manager. The hostess had more compassion. We were offer a coupon for our next visit. We declined. No meal removed or refunded. We love to visit local establishments and support as often as we can. I hope things will improve and no one else is made to feel this way.”

“I absolutely love this place. Hands-down this is my favorite place to get cakes in Southeast Texas. It is worth the drive. The cakes are always beautifully decorated, moist, and delicious. Theyre also very reasonably priced. I recommend them to everyone.”

“Mikey, (I hope that’s how you spell it) the cook, is wonderful. Apparently he usually works third shift, but luckily he was here in the afternoon. Not only was he cooking, but helping to train a waiter for every order! Keep in mind the manager was around in the back, but Mikey and the server where out here just doing their thing with a full house.

Usually I have to ask the waiter to have the cook take my eggs back to cook them more. There was NOTHING cooked bad. Everything was to perfection without asking. Not sure if people can get raises at Waffle House, but he deserves one!

He even started to serve and helped with entering things into the cashier for the new server.

He saw one of the waffles for another table was cooked too long, he made sure it did not go out. He dropped another one in to make sure it was great! Others would have gave it to the table and made another only if someone complained.

He needs to be a manager! Everyone with us said so. No complaints. I wish I lived nearby to only come here and for his cooking.

I almost forgot to mentioned, he changed his gloves 100 times lol. He’s probably the cleanest Waffle House cook, I’ve ever watched cook in general, let along at a Waffle House.”

“Our first time today. I had Spinach and Chicken Ouasidillas. It was delicious. My hubby had Beef Enchiladas and a Tostada on the side. It was all delicious, I ate all of mine and that's unusual for me. I usually get full halfway through. We will go back ❣️ The waitress was very nice and attentive.
