Very lovely restaurant. Love the tables and chairs. The food overall was very good and the service was even better. The staff was very nice. The Breakfast plates had good portions and everyone gave a thumbs up. The menudo was okay. The portions on the menudo were sad. I dont know if they were running out or what but two of us ordered menudo and both were very light on the meat and homony. It was mostly liquid. The tortillas were good but the best part of our meal were the tamales....
When we got here itcwad about 4 pm. It was slow, but all the tables upon entering were dirty. We sat at a dirty table where they quickly picked up in front of us. Place is a bit old and outdated, the food was great. They didn't offer refills on the coffee, wasn't to thrilled about service.
First time here...
What started as a $7 plate... ended up at $13. The food was plenty & had good flavor. Was surprised a regular cup of coffee was $3. This has been the only business that I've been to... that charged a fee for using a debit card.
It was very cold inside (66°F). Waitress was very attentive... considering she had customers all over the dining room. Not sure why they don't assign sections so the waitstaff won't be running back...
